Celebrating your retirement
Dear Jackie,
I still remember my very first day when Dale introduced me to everyone. I had a very long and complicated shipment that day, and I was honestly a little overwhelmed. I asked you to check it for me, and you were so kind and patient. You helped me without hesitation and told me not to worry. That little moment meant more to me than you probably realized.
You have one of the most beautiful, angelic voices I’ve ever heard, but what makes you truly special is the kindness behind that voice. You are always so positive, supportive, and willing to help everyone around you. And even though I’m usually quiet, you always noticed my smile and told me you liked it.
I know you’re not only kind to me. That’s simply who you are. You have a way of making people feel comfortable, supported, and cared for. That’s why whenever people talk about you, I can hear so much appreciation and trust in the way they speak about you. I’m really happy that I got the chance to work with you, Jackie.
I’m going to miss seeing you and hearing your beautiful voice at work. But I’m also so happy for you because you’ve earned this new chapter of your life. I hope retirement brings you lots of happiness, peaceful mornings, exciting adventures, delicious food, and plenty of reasons to smile.
Thank you for being such a wonderful colleague and an even more wonderful person. I’ll always remember your kindness and encouragement.
